Dog Depot Shop To Reopen Soon
We got a different Dog House!

April, 2023

Owner Mimi Garner thought long and hard about closing the Dog Depot Pet Store in Graeagle, but she finally decided that in order to serve her clients better and keep pricing low, she had to be rid of the cost of bricks and mortar.  Plus, not sitting around waiting for clients to show up, frees her up to service more clients and their pets during the day. Come this summer, Mimi is seeking out a new location and is considering opening a Dog Park where dogs and owners can hang out.

With just a phone call or a text message to 775-229-3140 you can make an appointment for pet sitting. Or, pening soon will be our new online shop, Stay tuned.  We also now provide a pick up location in downtown Graeagle at the Happy Hunting Grounds Antique Store owned my Marcia Boswell.

This new arrangement expands our business hours, helps us keep our prices low and  allows for better customer service for dog day care and overnight care.

So give us a call and we'll be there for you.  We just hope to have a different Dog House!  Coming Soon!

Dog Depot Mascot Suddenly Dies

Sasha Dies July 28, 2015

Our beloved AKC German Pointer, Sasha has recently passed on to doggie heaven.  She was a sweet and gentle creature with a zest for life that was unsurpassed from all other dogs we have known.  She greeted our friends for three years at the Dog Depot Pet Store.

She will be sorely missed and our hearts break with her passing.  Sasha was so kind and intelligent.  All that met her could trust her to come and go as she pleased at the shop and without worrying if she would get into trouble.

She spent hours hunting in the side lot for ground squirrels and rabbits honing her skills.  She never harmed a creature but made sure they were in her sights.

Her love of a tennis ball and a Chuckit showed her mastery of retrieving.  She circled with grace and speed that was frankly elegant and amazing.  She could curl up in bed and cuddle with the best of all dogs.

Our thanks to Vet Martin Schaeffer of Beckworth, CA who attended to her with great care and empathy.

We are now looking for our next mascot.  When one is found we will let you know.  Bye my love.

This Summer Come Celebrate 4th of July at the Music Festival in Quincy. Bring Fido!
